How to Delete an App Account

A Mobile Connect customer user account and data can be deleted directly through the app. 

  1. Select the menu option (hamburger icon) in the top left corner of the app. The menu expands. 
  2. Select My Info. A My Info screen appears. 
  3. At the bottom of the My Info screen, select the Delete Account button. A confirmation screen with messages and buttons appears (see below for details).
  4. If the user is sure they want to permanently delete their account, select the Delete Account button. The user's account and all related personal data is deleted and the Login screen appears. 

Notes

·        If the user has an active plan, the plan will remain active at the car wash if the app account is deleted.

·        If the user has made any wallet or vacuum time purchases within the app, they will lose access to those purchases if the app account is deleted.

·        After a user deletes their account in the app, they are able to sign up in the app again using the same email address; just like if they were a new app user.

·        Deleting this account is permanent. Are you sure you want to continue? (Always shows)

·        If you have an active plan, it will remain active at the car wash. (Always shows)

·        Deleting this account will result in loss of access to wallet purchases made within the app. (Only appears if the Wallet feature is enabled in the app.)

·        Deleting this account will result in loss of access to vacuum time purchases made within the app. (Only appears if the Vacuum Time feature is enabled in the app.)

·        Delete Account: Deletes the user's account and all related personal data. After deletion, the Login screen appears.

·        Cancel: Cancels the account deletion process and returns the user to the Home screen.
